I am an 18 year old viola player. I study with Adrian Levine at Chetham’s
school of Music and next year will be moving to the Royal College of Music.
My favorite composer is Shostakovitch, I love his music and the passion and meaning behind it all. My favorite performance has to be the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert hall. I performed here three times as part of the National Youth Orchestra and in my last year I was principal. I have also been part of a string quartet for two years and we have done many concerts over the two years and we will be staying together next year. I also performed at the Paralympic closing ceremony with Coldplay and the British Paraorchestra in 2012. This was an amazing experience as I got to learn music skills outside of classical as well as perform in a huge venue! Outside of classical music I also perform regularly in a band with my dad. We play anything from jazz and blues to folk and rock and I really enjoy doing it.
