Noelle KELBERT

Noelle’s life centers around her love of music. At age four, Noelle began piano lessons with her mother, and at five she commenced lessons in harp, which she continues today with Elizabeth Volpe-Blythe. When she was six years old, she pleaded to also learn the violin and began formal lessons at age ten. She has studied with Anne Shih, Martina Smazal and Lawrie Hill, and is currently with Professor Taras Gabora. Noelle’s many musical accomplishments include eight years with the VYSO (Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra), during which time she enjoyed the honour of Concerto Winner and Concert Master. In 2011, she performed harp at the Gala opening of the World Harp Congress at the Vogue Theatre, in Vancouver. She draws great inspiration from the performances of a variety of great musicians, especially Itzhak Perlman, Anne-Sophie Mutter, and Sarah Chang.
