Joshua Wu, 6, has played cello for a year and a half. He is a member of the British Columbia Conservatory of Music Junior String Ensemble, where he plays first violin. In the 2015 Kiwanis Fraser Valley International Music Festival, he was awarded a gold certificate in the concerto (8 years and under) class, as well as a gold certificate in the duets and trios junior class by performing alongside his older brother Joseph. He dreams of one day becoming a famous conductor. He is excited to be traveling to Italy this summer to learn violin in the studio of Prof. Nai Yuan Hu.
