Daisy Spiers


Daisy Spiers has recently graduated from a masters degree at the Royal Academy of Music where she received the M and B Dale, Leverhulme Orchestral, Hilda Wynne Memorial and Musicians Benevolent Awards.

She has performed in many prestigious venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Coleston Hall , Soul Arts Centre in Korea and the Lincoln Centre,New York.

Daisy begun her education at Chetham's School of Music which lead her to win a scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music as joint principal violin and viola. As well as European solo recitals Daisy has also played as assistant principal in the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and regularly works with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Daisy is a member of the prize winning Wilhelm String Quartet who are the resident junior fellows at the Royal Academy of Music. Today Daisy plays on a Battista Ceruti viola kindly on loan from the Royal Academy of Music.
