Violist, Christina Karakos, began her music career in Traverse City, Michigan, where she studied with David Holland, a professor at the Interlochen Fine Arts Academy, for six years. She is currently a junior at Western Michigan University studying music performance under the instruction of Igor Fedotov. During her time at WMU, she has performed in various chamber ensembles and orchestras. Her favorite composers are the Russians, Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky.
