Clare performs regularly as a soloist, ensemble pianist and improviser, and enjoys presenting unconventional and contemporary music. Studying with Douglas Finch at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Clare was very highly commended in the college’s 2013 John Halford competition, performing Edward Henderson’s work, which won the composition prize. As a duo pianist, she attended the 2013 Oxford Lieder Master Course with Eleanor Janes ( soprano), and has been a finalist in all Trinity Laban’s song competitions since 2012. In 2013, she received the David Gosling award for excellence in accompaniment work.
