Shen Xinlin was born on July 18, 2000. He started learning the violin at the age of six with Wen Dejing, professor at the School of Art, ECNU (East China Normal University). Shen Xinlin loves music and has been receiving rigorous and systematical training in music. In addition, he is also fond of literature, history and sports.

Shen Xinlin participated in various concerts and music contests from 2010 to 2013. In 2010, he won the Excellence Award in instrumental music competition at the Fifth China Youth Arts Festival held in Suzhou. In 2013, he was the winner of the first prize at China Campus Artist Selection held in Shanghai.
